ProdPad + GDPR – What it means for you

May 9, 2018

2 minute read

With the official kick off to GDPR fast approaching May 25th, we have taken the right steps at ProdPad to ensure we’re ready to support you (and your data!)

If you collect data from EU citizens (even if you are based outside of the EU) you will need to complete 4 tasks we have set up within all ProdPad admin accounts to facilitate compliance.

The tasks include:

GDPR contact information

  • Main GDPR officer
  • Naming your Data Protection Officer
  • Your EU representative (if you’re outside the EU)

Data Processing Addendum

The Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is an addendum to our SLA and T&Cs that states specifically how we will process and secure data that is entered into ProdPad and the responsibilities of both us and you as Data Processor and Data Controller respectively under the GDPR.

Access to update your own privacy policy

If you capture/store customer feedback in ProdPad, you need to update your own Privacy Policy to state as such.

Update the Privacy notices on the Customer Feedback Portal and Web Widget
If you use the ProdPad Customer Feedback Portal and/or widget, you need to update the Privacy Policy on each to state how their data is processed.

Request an NDA

A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is available between your company and ProdPad if you’d like one.

If you have any questions about your data’s security, please refer to our Security and Compliance section in our Help Center. As always, if you’d like to chat, just contact us!
